The quote is by Maurice Sendak, the writer of "Where The Wild Things Are" ... and it's just something I find beautiful!
I am at my most content when viewing the world through a lens.
I adore a lomographic view and strongly believe that vintage is the future! When I don’t have the resources available to portray my vision,
I reach for Photoshop. I am entirely self-taught and never afraid to try something new, be it risqué, sophisticated or utterly unique! I believe my talent begins with my mother, a naturally talented artist, she has always been my ultimate inspiration and since my first disposable camera shots on her allotment I have yearned to follow in her footsteps. Whilst my creativity often far outweighed my confidence in my own abilities during my younger years, it in no way quenched my thirst to learn and I am never afraid to try new things or break new barriers.
Art is my life and life is my art. I can’t imagine my world without creativity. It would be like a world without trees. I just don’t think I could exist if I were un-able to create! Since being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my teenage years I have had more time to dedicate to my artwork, and it has given me a focus and strength I had not previously realised I had within me.

This exhibition is a window into my mind, my view of the world. I love our planet, and have a real passion for life, I can't bear to think that the world is at times so wrapped up in the insignificant, when there is so much beauty out there. We only get one shot at life, why not live it to the very fullest?
Don't dream your dreams... Own them! I hope to express this with my work, it's a colourful and exciting portrayal of all the world can be, and so much more. My aim is to bring you smiles, and a warm buzz in your bellies, to encourage you to be impulsive and excited by life, to capture each moment and make it your own!
I am currently based in Portsmouth, England, and working closely with several local DJs designing posters, logos, flyers and graphics and taking press shots. I am also presently building a portfolio and selling personalised commissions and pieces privately, until such a time as I am established enough to claim this as a full time profession. There is nothing I won’t consider when it comes to a commission, and I am only limited by your imagination.
