Jerzy is a committed amateur photographer, specializing in street photography,
travel photography and documenting life in two regions of Poland: the industrial
region of Upper Silesia and the unspoilt, “lost in time” region
of Podlasie in Eastern Poland.
He is professionally engaged in financial services and uses his numerous opportunities
to travel abroad to learn about other cultures. He is an active member of TrekEarth.com
photo community and co-operates with the Polish travel magazine ‘Poznaj
Swiat’.
Here is a little story behind the series he has exhibited:
“There are two worlds…and they differ…One World is that Big
World of Adults, of people who run Mother Earth.... but there is also another
World - where children live their own lives…we think we know it but do
we really? How much room do the kids have to make their own decisions? Where
are the boundaries of their World?
How much do we know about their life, their passion, their emotions. How much
room do they have to reject our Adult World rules? Can they protest?
How?
