Howard Naylor started trading as Beacon Cycles in Market Street in July 1971 before moving to larger premises at No 30 High Street in 1976. He moved again in 1987 to the present shop on Derby Road. The shop keeps a selection of sporting cycles for both touring and racing. All staff being cycling enthusiasts are more than happy to pass on the benefit of their experience to customers.
