Jessica Harries-Wood : "Loughborough, My Little Bubble "
Having been a student here at Loughborough for the past two years, it has become obvious to me that whenever I return, I get 'sucked up' into 'The Loughborough mode!'
I hardly ever leave, and why would I? everything I need is here and im safe - inside my bubble.

These photographs play on the theme 'the uncanny' - 'seeming to have a supernatural character or origin'.
A lighthearted set of photographs illustrating Loughborough as a bubble. The bubbles are mainly in the foreground as i wanted the veiwer to see Loughborough through them. In some of the images, buildings and objects can be seen upside down in the bubbles as a reflection.
The vivid colours and busy shapes created on the surface of the bubbles is a good way of explaining life in Loughborough as a student. Nothing is ever dull!
