Even rubbish has a value
An elderly lady and her grand-daughter, Tejal are searching for valuable pieces of recyclable material. These containers are found on roadsides all over India. The local collection depot will come and fill the cans with household and general trash which has been collected from the neighbourhood. The rag pickers will wait nearby until the dumpsters have completed their daily deposits. Tejal and her grandmother then will make their way home to sort through the trash and collect their daily wages. Tejal is an orphan.
